A patient’s son called me one night around 3am and complained that his father has chest pain radiating to the jaw and back, heaviness in breathing and severe giddiness.

I immediately rushed to the hospital and examined him and ECG confirmed AWMI (one type of heart attack).

As he was reluctant to go further, I immediately gave him nitro glycerine to stabilize him and urged him to shift to ICCU. After half an hour, he was shifted and immediately thrombolysed and stabilised further and later underwent CAG and PTCA.

He is doing fine and comes for regular follow up.
