Being dedicated to life is the basis of everything we do at Zydus. Whether it’s providing cutting-edge, science-backed care to patients from all walks of life or raising awareness among those at the forefront of caring for patients. The dedication has led to the addition of a few more feathers in our cap.

The Unsung Heroes: NURSE – (Nurses United for ThRombophlebitiS PrEvention and Care) campaign spearheaded by Fortiza has entered the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.

Nearly 80% of hospitalized patients require peripheral venous cannulation as a part of their therapy. Thrombophlebitis is one of its prevalent complications which also leads to varied complications and coupled with the challenges of ensuring patient compliance, successful treatment becomes an uphill battle.

Nurses, being the frontline caregivers for patients, play an important role in ensuring prevention and care of thrombophlebitis. This is why Zydus kickstarted the Unsung Heroes: NURSE – (Nurses United for ThRombophlebitiS PrEvention and Care) campaign to raise awareness about safeguarding patients from thrombophlebitis.

Between 14th July and 14th September, 6635 nurses helped us create a record by joining the campaign, vowing to prioritize the safety of the patients and work proactively to prevent thrombophlebitis.

Mr. Ashok Adak (National Adjudicator, Asia Book of Records) unveiled the records at Zydus Healthcare Tower, Mumbai. The awards were received for ‘Maximum Nurses Pledged To Care For Thrombophlebitis’.Zydus Healthcare team recieving the Asia Book Of Records and India Book Of Records Award for the NURSE Campaign

With each new win, and each new record we strengthen our commitment to building a healthier tomorrow for all.

Congratulations to ‘Us’!
